Hi and Welcome to our blog! This is our first blog... ever! 

My husband, Stephen, and I decided to start this blog so we can chat with people and build a community! 

Last spring I made this jewelry holder to hang on the wall. It allowed me to clear up the top of my dresser and it makes picking a piece of jewelry that much easier! I am a big fan of cheap DIYs that are not only cute but also useful.

The other night my husband requested that I make Vegan Nacho Cheese so we could sneak it in to the movie theater! No arguments from me! I love a good, semi-dangerous date night!

Yay! Summer is here! Living in San Diego, all I can think of is Sun, Sand, and... Sangria!! Try this delicious White Peach Sangria!

It has been 7 months since I combed out my locs! OMG! I honestly cannot even believe it has been that long! So I decided now is the appropriate time to give an update on my growth, maintenance, challenges, etc.

As I write this, I am completely unloc’d! Wow!

It is a wonderful freeing feeling and my head feels so light haha.

When I was 3 and I asked my mom for locs she explained to me that this would be a commitment.
